Welcome to Destiny Fantasy RPG

Welcome to our insanity. Destiny began as notes in a small note book that traveled everywhere with me. It was initially a word of mouth fantasy game that we started in the late 80s. I remember a time when two of us where stuck on the People Mover at Disneyland and we broke out the note pad and continued the adventure.

Destiny eventually grew into a world, the world now known as Moirai. The system was the original Tri Stat system before BESM stole it (well, I don't think they knew of it really). We called it Destiny Express.

One day someone got the bright idea that we should build a full and robust system to go with the world. Yeah... some days I still kick myself for that decision. But I'm a glutton for punishment (spend enough time getting your butt whooped in MMA you get used to pain). After many hours of discussion (arguments), outright conversation stoppers ("then eyes appear in the sky and say 'GRANTED'"), way too much pizza and of course the intense waste of time with our lives, we created the Destiny System to go with the world.

The rules were put together and game tested. We worked out the kinks and it was a good and solid system. So what did we do with it? Most of us got a life and we ended up tabling it. Yes, as a gamer I actually got married and have kids. I know... hard to believe...

After over a decade of being tabled I had the opportunity to introduce a whole new batch of gamers to the world of Destiny. I began to reread the rules and realized that it was outdated and needed to be cleaned up.

We have many new ideas for genres and worlds but mostly we want to finish what we started and get this damn game done!

So what is Destiny? Destiny is a world that takes place in the Fantasy genre, a world of magic, myth, creatures, races and medieval lore. Destiny itself is more than a game system, but a world that has been developed in over a ten year span of time.

From the first moment you enter the Destiny world, you embark upon a journey into the imagination.

Destiny is a role playing world, a mythological environment in which you can develop your own character and experience imaginary beings. This is a continent of legends and detailed histories, both past and in the making. Step into this world and you may become an integral part, a major character in an unfolding tale, a great figure in the next noteworthy event in Destiny’s illustrious history.

Destiny is an RPG world where you will play a part in the history of that world. Build your reputation and become a respected or feared member of society, actions taken by you can alter the world for good or evil as you help to shape history on your journey.
